On the 20th of February 2013 VCO signed an MoU with the Sudan Rural Development Company in order to achieve productive cooperation between the two parties in the areas of rural development activities in Sudan, since Sudan Rural Development Company Ltd. is working to promote and finance investment in Sudan rural areas, in the fields of agriculture, industry and services; and Vet-Care Organization is a national NGO working in the field of achieving food security and improvement of livelihood and social services in Sudan rural areas, and where the two parties want to define a framework of understanding on this subject, the two parties developed and signed a cooperation MoU. The two parties will implement a microfinance projects in North Kordofan State in the agriculture rain feed sector.
